By accessing or using My Project Ally ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

My Project Ally is a platform that helps homeowners compare contractor bids for home improvement projects. The Service uses AI to analyze bid documents, research contractor backgrounds, score bids, and generate negotiation guidance. The Service includes a free tier and a paid Expert Negotiation tier ($249).

3. Not Professional Advice

The analysis, scores, and rankings provided by the Service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, construction, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make regarding contractor selection, contract negotiations, and project execution. You should independently verify all contractor credentials, licensing, and insurance before hiring.

4. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Account page.

5. Paid Services & Money-Back Guarantee

The Expert Negotiation is offered at $249. If you do not save at least $249 compared to the recommended contractor's quoted price after hiring a contractor, you are eligible for a refund under our money-back guarantee. The refund amount equals $249 minus your actual savings (minimum $0). To request a refund, you must submit your final invoice or signed contract through the refund request form. Refund eligibility is subject to verification of the final price paid.

Expert as a Resource, Not a Decision-Maker. The Expert Negotiation provides information, guidance, and negotiation support only. Your expert does not select the contractor, choose the solution approach, or make any binding decision on your behalf. The choice of contractor, solution approach, and project execution is solely and exclusively yours. My Project Ally and its experts are not responsible for the outcome of decisions you make based on the consultation.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any bid documents, invoices, and other materials you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze it solely to provide the Service to you. We do not share your uploaded documents with third parties.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: uploading fraudulent or misleading documents, attempting to access other users' data, reverse-engineering the Service, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Project Ally shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any decisions made based on its output.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
